Fraunhofer Best Portuguese MSc Thesis competition in Biomedical Engineering
The best Portuguese MSc Thesis competition is sponsored by the Portuguese Society of Biomedical Engineering (SPEB) and IEEE EMBS Portugal Chapter.
Applicants must observe the following rules:
- The thesis must be related to a relevant Biomedical Engineering Topic
- Applicants must have defended their thesis until the MEDICON conference starting date (26thof September 2019)
- Applicants must have concluded their thesis in the last 3 years in a Portuguese University
- The thesis must be written in English or Portuguese
- Finalists must present the submitted work at the MEDICON conference
- The jury of the competition will be designated by the committee of organization of the best master thesis prize, under delegation of the Direction of the Portuguese Society of Biomedical Engineering and the Portuguese Chapter of IEEE-EMBS.
- The decision of the Jury is sovereign, and there is no appeal to any other entity
- The prize has a symbolic value of 500 euros, and the candidate (or his / her representative) will receive the certificate of the Best Master Thesis Award in Biomedical Engineering in September 2019, during the 15th MEDICON
To apply to this competition, applicants should submit a paper (up to 8 pages) with the main results and contributions of the thesis until the 10thof July 2019 using the “MSc Thesis Competition” track.
